Missile security was monitored by the Missile Combat Crew Commanders (capsule crew) in the underground Launch Control Center, and by extension to the 91^st SMW, Security Control, and SAC/HQ. The MCCCs would communicate directly with the Flight Security Controller, who was in charge of the aboveground Launch Control Facility, while providing physical security requirements for the 10 remote missile Launch Facilities encircling the LCF.
